The Commando is an interesting light mech in Battletech, one that can quickly get you in trouble, as it can often take on heavier machines such as low tonnage medium mechs- while forgetting that it *is* a light mech.
The punch from the mech comes for the combination of SRM systems- the 4 and 6 along with a medium laser.
At close range the distribution of the missiles allows you to hit multiple locations, taking advantage of any potential weak points or exposed internals for critical hits.
Armor and speed are good for the tonnage, but a lack of jump capability could allow the mech to be cornered in cityfight scenarios.
